Check your bank’s offer first
Each bank sets its own rules for switching rewards. Read the offer’s terms before you sign up. A reward isn’t guaranteed.
If an offer needs two Direct Debits, two to the same business may not count as two.
Check your bank’s Direct Debit requirements.
Offers usually need Direct Debits moved from your old account, so set them up before you request the switch. How many do you need?

Will it count for my bank’s offer?
Each bank sets its own rules. Check the offer’s terms before signing up. A switching reward isn’t guaranteed.
Is it a real Direct Debit?
Yes. Each subscription sets up a recurring Bacs Direct Debit, processed by Stripe and protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. It isn’t a card payment or a standing order, which many switching offers don’t count.
Do I need this if I already pay bills by Direct Debit?
Maybe not. If you already have enough Direct Debits that meet your offer’s rules, use those. Some offers require household bills or exclude subscription payments, so check your offer’s terms before ordering.
How does it work?
Authorise £1 a month in our secure payment form. There’s no separate account or password. Bank processing takes several business days.
How long will it take?
Stripe’s indicative timing is up to 7 business days to confirm the first payment with a new Bacs mandate. Weekends and bank holidays don’t count. Check your bank’s offer before switching.
What will my bank statement show?
Stripe processes the Direct Debit, so your banking app or statement may show Stripe and a mandate reference rather than Switch Direct Debit. Keep the reference from your Stripe emails so you can recognise it.
Can I set up more than one?
One subscription is set up per checkout, at £1 a month. Check your bank’s rules: two Direct Debits to one business may not count as two.
Can I cancel?
Visit our cancellation page and enter your email or customer reference plus the matching Direct Debit reference from your setup email. You will see a switching-bonus warning before confirming. You can also cancel a Direct Debit through your bank.
What if I forget to cancel?
It renews at £1 a month until you cancel, with no minimum term or cancellation fee. Cancelling stops future renewals but doesn’t refund earlier months, so set a reminder for when your offer’s conditions have been met.
